EU helps to improve the export capacity of companies on both sides of the Nistru river

January 19, 2017, Chisinau – The Export Consultancy market soon will enrich with experts certified by one of the most prestigious institutions in Europe – The Institute of Export from Great Britain. Today were launched the trainings in export transactions for 20 specialists from both banks of the Nistru river, selected on a competitive basis. The project is funded by the European Union and conducted within the Support to Confidence Building Measures Program, implemented by UNDP.

For five months participants will get familiar with the tools to conduct international trade transactions: customs procedures, international trade regimes, trade facilitation tools, established by the Association Agreement with EU, etc. After performance assessment, at least 15 of them will be internationally certified.

Thus, companies from both banks of the Nistru river will receive quality services in order to strengthen the export potential.

„Export growth provides the business development. The market needs specialists on both banks of the Nistru river, and this project will directly contribute to enhancing the capacities of business associations and companies to extension the buyers networks on the external market”, said Andrei Darie, the manager of „Support to Confidence Building Measures” Program, at the launch of trainings. A research carried out within the Program shows that companies from the right bank, as well as those from the left bank, require professional Export services.

Training activities and certification will be provided by The Institute of Export from Great Britain, as well as the experts of the consulting company Public Administration International from Great Britain. Locally trainings will be provided by AO Alternative Internaționale de Dezvoltare (Chisinau) and AO Sigma-expert (Bendere).
